By downloading, installing, or using PSoft Authenticator (“the Application”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of the Application immediately.

1. User Responsibility & Master Password

Because PSoft Authenticator utilizes zero-knowledge client-side encryption:

• You are solely responsible for remembering and protecting your Master Password.
• PVSoft cannot reset or recover your Master Password if you lose or forget it. There is no cryptographic backdoor.
• We strongly advise keeping regular encrypted or offline backups in a secure location.

2. Permitted Use

You may use the Application for personal and commercial management of two-factor authentication tokens and personal passwords in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

3. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Application, including its design, branding, interfaces, and underlying source code, remain the exclusive property of PVSoft.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. PVSoft does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or entirely error-free.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PVSoft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, unauthorized device access, or lost profits arising from your use of the Application.
